We are looking for an experienced Moving Sales & Surveying professional to join our client’s team in Bangkok. The role will be responsible for leading the Sales team, helping to maximise profitability & efficiency by providing high level service delivery as well as winning & retaining new business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Move Management, with a particular focus on Pricing, Surveying & Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration within Thailand's moving and relocation sector.
- Lead the moving sales and surveying team to surpass personal and collective targets.
- Foster team development through mentoring and coaching.
- Cultivate and validate relocation & moving sales opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Strategically collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise sales processes and pricing strategies for moving & relocation services.
- Enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction by liaising with cross-functional teams.
- Manage tender processes in adherence to company protocols.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with local vendors, overseas agents, and partners.
- Support regional marketing efforts to amplify brand visibility and consistency.
- Conduct pre-move surveys and engage in lead generation activities to expand the client base.
Split of Core Functions and Responsibilities:
Team Support, Leadership & Sales:
- Mentor and guide the commercial sales team towards excellence.
- Drive a healthy sales pipeline and ensure objective attainment.
- Assist in RFP preparation and presentation delivery.
- Conduct regular meetings to foster commercial sales team performance.
Personal Targets and Activity:
- Develop a robust personal pipeline and conduct pre-move surveys.
- Actively engage with prospects to generate leads and convert sales opportunities.
Sales Strategy:
- Prepare RFPs, formal proposals, and presentation content.
- Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to align sales strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with department heads and managing directors during budgeting periods.
Branding, Networking & Marketing:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand messaging.
- Support the development of new collateral branding.
- Attend local networking functions to bolster brand visibility.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable industry knowledge and sales management experience within Move Management.
- Proficiency in presentation, written communication, and financial analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing ratios.
- Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of sales management experience within International Moving or Relocation services.
- Previous surveying & pricing experience would be advantageous.
- Background in B2C sales.
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
